Hello ABE website teachers. We have many ABE teachers from different countries who have espressed an interest in translating from their native language into a second language for payment.This will be a second income for ABE teachers. Preference will given to teachers who have a four year college degree in a second language with some translation experience in that language.An ABE teacher and/or  translator is considered an independent contractor for purposes of  employment.

All ABE personnel receive a 20% discount on their own translation requests.

When we receive a translation request which asks for a translation in your second language we will contact you by email. Before this is done we have received an approved price quote from the sender and the payment. You then review the document and let us know in 2 days whether you can translate the document within three days. When we receive your translation by email we then pay you through your PayPal account.

ABE pays you according to the number of words in the document and its complexity. In our first email to you we will give you the document’s word count and the payment amount which has been approved by the sender

An ABE teacher translation request is discounted 20%. There is a $5 processing and proofreading charge added to all translations.
