Many of our teachers are currently teaching in Asia with years of experience in public school and English Academies. They are college graduates who appreciate and respect Asian cultures. A number of ABE teachers are retired  ESL teachers with years of teaching experience in Asia. Our teachers understand the difference between kimchi,mandu,beijing duck and sushi. At your first phone meeting a teacher will ask you what subject you want to focus on and will not make you follow a set lesson plan. If you’re a German businessperson who will be in China for six months then an ABE teacher might suggest you learn about the business culture and vocabulary used in Beijing. To make this learning possible the ABE native Chinese teacher would know intermediate English and the same for the German businessperson. English would be the Bridge Langauge. If  at all possible a Chinese native who knows German might be employed for this situation. After each lesson we ask that you send us an email detailing any feedback you might have regarding the quality of your lesson.
