The IELTS is a British based English exam which has two tests. One test is called the Academic test which is for students who want to pursue an undergraduate or graduate school degree. The second test is called the IELTS general exam which is for expanding your English skills in a work enviroment. Each test has four parts –listening and speaking which are alike in both tests and then separate and distinct reading and writing sections.
